Ejabberd akkoma auth script error

Hi everyone.

I am attempting to use the ejabberd auth script from the docs but get many lines of:

INFO:root:Error while processing data from ejabberd unpack requires a buffer of 2 bytes

in the log and no user created in ejabberd. There is only one Akkoma user: me.
Thanks in advance for your time, I realise I am out of my depth here with this but if it is even a simple for someone I would be very appreciative :orange_heart:

Update: Not currently getting the line above, perhaps that was an initial misconfigurationā€¦ the log now just says starting the script, and thats it. No users generated for ejabberd. I presume I can change to debug and et more info, so will try that.

I am an idiot: It works!

I just had to actually attempt to log in, for some reason I expected the user list to populate, then I had a wee think about how it might actually auth and just logged in and it worked.
