Configuration pages blank (settings menu) [ver 3.13.1.0]

when I look in the configuration pages the settings pages are blank, this occured after a large number of upgrades (upgraded server to debian 12 also akkoma like four releases at least)

I have a memory of there being an additional command involved in upgrades that is not shown in the upgrade guide, I recall this fixing a similar issue last upgrade I did on this server.

any help would be appreciated - there does not appear to be any error when I view “journalctl -feu akkoma” when navigating the admin pages.

you have to upgrade admin-fe as well, not sure if it’s in the upgrade guide
